In non-exclusive development, costs are split with the client, who then licenses the software on a non-exclusive basis, so we can recoup our costs by licensing the software, in whole or part, to other companies that may have a use. In non-exclusive custom development, Pinnacle retains full ownership of the software. The advantage of this program is that the client gets exactly what they want at a substantially reduced cost.

In exclusive development, all costs are paid by the client, who then owns the intellectual property on an exclusive basis. Pinnacle can manage the completed software for the client, or they can select anyone to manage it for them, including in-house. The advantage of this program is the client owns the software asset, has full control and patent rights.
